it well worth it, and I believe that it's essential for hobbying.  I addressed verification a little in your other post, but the short answer is to give her what she needs or asks for, no more, no less.  If she has good reviews, you're as safe as you can get in this hobby - that is, no guarantees, but way reduced risk.

The best way to learn is to lurk for awhile on this and your regional board to get a feel for how things are and what providers are posting ads.  Search the reviews for your area for what you like, and only see providers with at least ten good reviews by reviewers with at least 7 reviews apiece while you're still a newbie.  This is the important part:  get the VIP so that you can actually READ the reviews.  You will then have the information you need to make a wise choice.

Other than that, use the search message board above for specific questions, and page through this board for general areas covered.

Good luck.

I know some girls / agencies want to verifie you. What do they normally do to get this done? Will they call your place of work and if so who do they say the are? Do you have to give your real name.

Thankfully I found this site. Really great!!! I was almost going to call someone who had very poor ratings. Now I know better and will be able to call someone who will welcome me in...

I have learned a lot from the newbie board. Are there any other tips you can give a first timer?

Best tip is get VIP membership, a deal for $20/month and if you write reviews, you get 15 days for each one.  Next best tip is DO YOUR RESEARCH!  Once you have VIP, you can PM other hobbyists about a provider you might be interested in.

As far as verification goes, yes, many will call your work with an innocent question like a doc's office calling to remind you of tomorrow's appointment.  They do this to verify you work there and not the local LEO office.  NO, they do not say who they are.  They just want to know you have given them correct information about yourself.  Yes, you will probably have to give your real name.

Providers are another way of verification.  Once you have seen a provider, you can use her and subsequent ones as references, with their permission, of course.  You can also ask them to give you a white list referral.  This allows other providers to see which ladies have seen you and vouched that you are an OK guy.

Good luck,
Swim

click on and read the Newbies' Manual above.

It is a font of good information.

Search around a few escort malls, and collective websites, sign up, geta passworsd and an ID.  Sometimes its even free.  Plus if your self employed or dont have a corporate phone, this may be a good substitute.

You should probably also make your first contact using her email, writing a sincere, thoughtful and courteous introduction.

In other words, be a gentleman!

Thanks for the helpful feedback. I became a VIP member and have found some of the reviews very helpfull. I think I'm going to go with a known agencie. Found this girl who seems pretty good for 1st timers...

Good luck and have fun.  I recently had my first time experience, and it was far far far better than I imagined.  Screening wasn’t that hard.  I had some privacy concerns and the most wonderful provider I was working with was willing to work with me and make our date possible.  I do think good communication skills helps.  Be honest, kind, sincere.  If at first you don’t succeed, try again.  Don’t give up, it will happen.  Took me forever to make the plunge, but now that I’m in the pool, I plan to be a very frequent participant.  Live is sort, live it to the fullest.

YES!!!! Give them your real name!!!  They verify you for their protection! If they call your place of work, normally they will only ask if you are there.  That way they will get a yes, hold on, or no he isn't here.  If you don't give your real name, you will lose her trust when she verifies you...You won't get to see her!!!  Once you have seen a provider, ask her if you can use her as a reference..don't just do it!  Once you have one or two, you will not have to worry about the work verification...they will contact the providers.
Good Luck!
