they will squander their good draft picks or trade them away.

Parity is working, look how the teams that used to be good are no longer.

new england, pittsburgh, the giants and even the 49ers

and the cowboys and eagles are getting a chance

After a lackluster and offensively challenged beginning they are getting back to their old ways of winning. As for the rest, the Giants are one step down from mediocre, and the Niners and the Steelers are just one small step up from mediocre.

If you want to look at a franchise that has gone from "hero to zero" How about the Raiders, one of the best teams in the league from their early days of the AFL and continuing for decades, they are now one of the saddest organizations in all of football, with no signs of improvement for the future, and I say this as a one time huge fan of the organization having been born and raised in the SF Bay Area about the same time as the Raiders were "born" lol

I was stationed at Moffett Field from 1989-91 during the height of the Raider-Niner rivalry. Fistfights in the stands were commonplace at the annual exhibition game between the teams.

They are 6-2, in first place (second in the conference) and have won 4 straight, averaging 40 points per game in their streak.

Gronk seems to be fully healthy which makes them a MUCH better team than earlier this year with him still recovering and being rusty.

Also think you are writing off the Niners too soon. SO many injuries on D side of the ball to judge them fully right now.

I don't think the niners are by any means a "great" team right now, but either the Jets or the Giants would kill to be anywhere near as "mediocre" as SF is right now.

As for NE, did you see them light it up yesterday, nothing at all mediocre about that team right now.

Endured two 1-15 seasons under Kottitte, then enjoyed the recovery under Tuna.  Since then, a mixed bag, and just about all NY teams are now in a down cycle.  Except for the Rangers...

Note: I don't have those season tickets any longer. I'd rather watch the games from the comfort of my living room, or at the bar.  And my real loyalty is for the Giants, anyway.  We beat the hated Patriots twice in two Bowls...as good as it gets!

Though I respect the Patriot players  the most, of teams I can't stand.

Has anyone else noticed, when Brady loses he looks angry , when Eli loses he looks like a child
  holding back tears?

I have  only contempt for Eli the baby and the NY Giants.
