I'm glad I decided to come to this board to ask that question. I think I pretty much understand now for the most part lol , before when I use to ask this question people would tell me in a way where I just could not get it lol, but now its a lot more clearer ...I guess TER saved the day. lol

So i'm sitting here watching the game and i'm pretty much lost lol. Anyone want to help me understand football? I love watching it but I do not understand the rules lol *giggles*

as my date. Thank God I didn't have to pay for those tickets. A coworker gave it to me, because he could not make it. He had some personal issues going on and is a season plan holder.

The girl said to me exactly same thing you did... Worst date ever... :D

Right now I don't understand football either. And I had those sorry fuckers to win the 1st half.

Saint's can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the last 60 seconds of any game on any Sunday,  Long running tradition with them.  Still a proud (and drunk) member of the Who Dat nation

with all these scandals and shit...

Well, me, I can at least enjoy baseball for next month or so.... :D

Sorry dude... Couldn't resist... :D

But we're on life support with doctors Gambler, CPA and Curly waiting to pull the plug lol

but they slipped a lot in 2nd half... They did have a very good 1st half...

yeah, that's right , have a problem with it? Your Nats may have won divison but will lose in first round to must likely San Fran.

If we stay atop NL we won't have to play the first round.

Awwwww I feel for ya....

they will lose no matter what, its fucking DC for you! Bunch of losing teams that can't get it down when it matters.

Dear Ally:
The object of the game is to get the ball in the endzone. With that said the offense is constantly trying to advance the ball down the field and renew there four downs by trying to get ten yards for every four downs they have. They can advance the ball either one or two ways: By passing the ball or by running the ball.
The defenses job is to stop any and all matriculation of the offenses advancing the ball. The methods they do this is by tackling, intercepting the ball, Sacking the quarterback or recovering fumbles. Primarily they want to make them get to fourth down to where they are in a situation where they have to punt the ball.  Once they do that, then there job is essentially complete.  Your special teams are there to help the offense get field position or in the case of the kickoff team to deny them field position.  I hope this is a starter to helping you comprehend the game easier.

At the end of the season teams are evaluated and ranked on several different scoring opportunities.

The point values are as follow:

10 Points for every player that has been convicted of a crime.

5 points for every player that has been indicted for a felony.

5 points for every game a team official is suspended.

3 points for every game a player is suspended.

Looks like this year there might be a new scoring record.

google it, or go to a library and read books on it!

Both have been totally corrupted by money's influence.
