Usually that does not apply to felonies or violent crimes. That is something usually reserved for DUI's.

I actually was quite appalled that the jerk didnt even have the decency to pick her up and carry her like a lady.  He just knocked her the hell out.  I am part of the crowd that believes when you step into the arena Man or Woman expect to be a Gladiator, but personally I dont think it was necessary.  He couldve restrained her.  BUT he didnt so then at least pick her up and act like you give a damn instead of dragging her around and letting the elevators bounce off of her.  What a jerk off.  She was quite hot though :-)

...in a drunk driving incident.  He served 180 days for manslaughter.

Janay Palmer Rice is still alive (no thanks to Ray Rice).  It seems the NFL views drinking and driving as being more acceptable than spousal abuse.

 Ball Sports has never been of interest too me; but between the video, the salaries lost, the lives ruined, and possible further careers ended this game just keeps on giving.

 If unqualified, subjective, often hypocritical moralities are to be used as "Jim Crow law" in respect to employment practices then EVERYONE should be subject to subjective conjecture and enforcement.

If prescription users of Cannabis are all deemed unsafe/immoral for purposes of employment so too should the NFL commissioner be held complicit in Ray Rice's domestic violence.

Ray Rice knew what he did and the Ravens knew as well, so the video is not showing anything new. Ray Rice just found out that the Ravens or any nfl team will drop you quick if they expect to get any blow back in order to cover their own ass. The ironic thing about this is that if Ray Rice and family did not save their money they are in for some rough times because he may never get back into the nfl.

Ray Rice's wife has now been "victimized" serendipitously by the arguably justifiable righteous indignation and subsequent draconian punishment. I don't see Ray "bringing home the bacon" as he did in the past. Janay Rice's plans of a life of 'living large' just went down the toilet along with her hubbies career.  

 The only winner in this game was the media!
