I only have so much handicapping time available, so "round ball" will have to wait until football season starts winding down for me.

I hear what your saying - but this really doesn't require much in the way of handicapping. I just review the rosters and the team with the most/best NBA players on it is who I pick to win. Same for the MVP - best NBA player on the roster - except for USA were I spread it around.
at this time of year I am already on Sports overload, kind of like when the NBA and the NHL are nearing their respective finals, AND baseball season is just starting, I have so many games to handicap that involve real money, I just don't have the time to put any serious thought into anything else sports related.
Basketball is popular sport, but very people paying real close attention to the International event. Its just like World Baseball Series. Oh I followed the latter, but not really as popular as World Cup Soccer..
The NFL weekly contest starts Thursday..people will be much more in tune with that one..Seattle repeat?..
