First would be to become familiar to readers of the boards on TER and other boards in your area.  I often choose to meet providers after to getting to know them from their on line posts.

The second is to prominently display your city and state on your site.  I could not determine where you are to even know if meeting is possible.

Best of luck and welcome back to the hobby.

I am a provider who was in retirement for almost 7+ years. I decided to come out of retirement about a month ago. I have been in this business for a number of years. Traveled all over the US and to 1 country outside of the US. However, due to being away from it for the past several years I feel like a newbie far as getting re-established. Past reviews are long gone, as well as past friends, boards and sites I was connected to. I have done my "homework", and getting familiar with the "set-up" of how things are being established now. If anyone have any advice or tips on helping me along the way, I certainly would appreciate it. :)

whose name starts with R is given a freebie GFE. Just the way it is now. :-)

Seriously, from a hobbyist's point of view, your site looks good, and you are in the right place here.  Posting within the rules on your Regional Board will be a great place to start marketing.  Once you qualify for the Provider Board, you should be able to get help from other providers.  In the meantime, check out your regional board for awhile to identify any local providers that may lend a helping hand or support.

I'm sure that providers will help you on this thread too.

BTW, welcome back.  Good Luck

Ray

Best wishes to you in your "new" venture!!!

You are on the right path by finding TER and the Newbie Board.  You have also done well in getting your site up, with the TER badge.

Seeing that your phone number is 717, I suggest that  Philadelphia is the appropriate regional board for you to post your ads.  You can announce your availability once every 7 days.

Also, you will want to read through the Instruction Manual, which is permanently posted at the top of this forum.  While most of it is written for the guys, it is easy to transpose the advice for your purposes.

Just a couple of points on your site (not criticism, just the devil is in the details):

1)  From your homepage, "Hi, I am Carol also know as TempressDD".  In that first phrase, I see 2 typos, including you DBA name.  Not a very good first impression!

2)  The photo in the banner isn't really representative of you, but I know that there are limits in the template.  Read through this recent thread which may give you some ideas of how to better personalize your site - http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=34161&boardID=33.

Another tip:  you may want to join a verification service, for your safety, and increase exposure to serious hobbyists.  I know that Date Check offers ladies a free, introductory membership.

Again, good luck to you, and we are always here to help,

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome and the very helpful advice. And much thanks jazz32 for pointing out those typos (ugh). Your right, not a very good first impression indeed. I am steadily working on my website and trying to get it "polished". So any positive criticism is not frowned apond. I am scheduled for a professional photo shoot this Wednesday, New pictures will also be added. I am in the Harrisburg,Pa area. I will be adding this information as well. Again thank you all, And keep those tips coming!!!

I am trying to be helpful here.  You may want to have someone proof your web site for grammatical and word usage errors.  Maybe it is as simple as taking your time and proofreading your own work before hitting "submit".  For example, "your" should be "you're" & "apond" should be "upon".

Good luck in establishing your business.

TemptressDD,
Hi & welcome back.

The one thing I notice a lot is providers running "specials" on CL.  Not that there is anything wrong with this but it is a petty forum, a lot of flagging & crap.  The ladies are sadly mistaken if they think guys have time to spend hours surfing through the repetitve posts.
But if I have someone whom I am interested in...  I can't use the search feature if they scramble their stage name or last 4 digits.  Please tell me the approximate area you are in on a given day so if I think I'm gonna get free we could connect...

I would suggest you do all your adds on a word processor or e-mail program & cut & paste into a form after running spell check.
