If you are just trying to experience it in, say, a one hour time frame, it is hard to really appreciate where it can take you. There are many different aspects to it.
For myself, the part I thought would be boring initially, actually became an area where I found myself really advancing in my expereince of sexuality. That is the breathing. Not only controled breathing (which, among other things, can help you better control when you go 'over the top') but also shared breathing with a lady. It's hard to explain, but it is very intimate and erotic to have shared breathing while doing the bedroom dance.
I think from a hobby perspective, one lady's sharing of that experience with you will differ from anothers. So if you venture out into this realm, I recommended giving yourself at least a few dates with one lady, after you establish a good rapport on the first date.
