Brazil as the host country has been getting every break possible this entire tournament. IMO Germany wanted to make sure that the rout was so one sided that even corrupt officials could not determine the outcome.
Don't get me wrong, Brazil has a great team, and I am certainly not accusing them of cheating, but FIFA OTOH??? They are every bit as corrupt as the Olympic committee.

...the 2022 World Cup. If you think it's hot in Brazil, just wait until you see Qatar in July. They had water breaks for the first time in this World Cup - in Qatar they're gonna need IV breaks.
but I completely agree about Qatar, and the level of corruption within FIFA.
