NFL announces new rules. In the event the Super Bowl ends...
...in a tie after two overtime periods, both teams will kick field goals until one team misses.
They will also go back to the rule that they abandoned 50 years ago - one of the zebras will keep the official time on his watch. The two-minute warning will now be used for it's original purpose - to synchronize the stadium clock with the official time kept by one dude with a watch.
...to eliminate scoreboards altogether. Fans will be left to guess how much time is left in the half/game until someone holds up a tiny electric sign that 100,000 people have to squint to see.
Of course, the amount of time left will be decided by the whim of one individual.
