Last night, Cleveland made Andrew Wiggins of Kansas the #1 pick. It was a toss-up between Wiggins and Jabari Parker of Duke, but I guess Dan Gilbert felt that he had a better chance of getting LeBron James back to Cleveland with Wiggins. Joel Embiid of Kansas was on track to be #1 before he broke his foot, but wound up being taken 3rd by Philadelphia.
They traded for a point guard in the draft who James called the best point guard in the draft, who is also his favorite player...
I guess they'll do anything to make King James happy.....but will that seal the deal???
By the way, did Zack LaVine look pissed by getting drafted by the timberwolfs? It looked like he muttered "Fuck me"....
They have to make James happy because they won't win anything without him. The head scratcher was why Charlotte would help a team in their own division.
