yeah yeah, I'm a newbie, and as such i dont know the lingo.

I am reading reviews talking about standard 2 call systems and I have no idea what that is or why it would be beneficial or if it even is.

if someone has a website with the websters dictionary to the hobbyist world i would sure appreciate it.

I dont want my first meeting to be the one that puts me behind bars or whatever happens when you get busted for the first time.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out with sage advice or website links where i can learn more or even keywords I should use to google so I can help myself so to speak like the rules state.

the links above, but you will come across some phrases in the reviews and on the boards that may not be covered.  Your best bet is to ask.

For example, I don't think "Standard 2 call system" is covered by the Newbie links (not that I could find anyway with a quick look just now) so I will tell you that it means that, when you make an appointment (1st call) with a provider either through an agency or directly, you will be told to go to a location near the appointment or to the hotel and then call at the appointed time.   You will be told the hotel room number, or directed to the other type of location during the 2nd call.  It is a safety measure.

Good Luck

on your regional board (pulldown menu on left) to get a feel for this wonderful hobby.  A good hobbyist is like a fine wine--aged over time.

The meaning was a veteran (I'd say of at least 1 year) is a better date for a provider than a newbie.  No anxiety (woody responds), knows what to expect, treats the lady better, etc.

Don't worry about it, I keep running in the alphabet  soup of menu items and run for the on-line translation page. I'm so green that only recently I found out that my favorite provider whom I see weekly is not my regular but my ATF. I saw the acronym a few times and could never figure aout what "automatic transmission fluid" had to deal with an sp unless it was used in reference of a lube or my stick shifter and her shifting gears. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to consider her as an ATF for that reason.  As for the rest of it, I simply ask her what she'd like or like to do for the time we are together and for some of the things she's wanted I've not been able to find and acronym, so don't worry too much about the lingo.
