Wow smh.....
Had an incident occur in Wisconsin Rapids a few months ago, which nearly made me give up the hobby completely for good, but hadn't mentioned it on here before because I was rather embarrassed (and somewhat concerned at the time). Yesterday I found out from a guy I know (who also just started the hobby) that the same thing recently happened to him in the same city with the same people involved, so I'm just telling this as a warning so others don't experience the same thing we did:
While in Rapids, I had contacted a provider who was listed as being in the city (cause I was down in the area for the night) and we agreed to meet at her incall. Once I got to the place, I went to her apartment and was meet by a very pretty, petite young woman in her early-mid 20s. After getting the LE check out of the way, I gave her my donation and we were ready to head to her bedroom... until the apartment doorknob started fumbling and a key was inserted. She quickly hid the donation away as a 30+ year old black guy (I'm not racist at all, but this guy took the whole 'gangsta' stereotype to the next level) walked in, who I quickly found out was the girl's "boyfriend" (yes, and I'm the queen of England...).
He started acting agitated, asking the girl what the hell was going on and why there's some stranger in his apartment, to which the girl started lying and saying that I was there for a few minutes to meet "her friend" and not her - at this point, I was getting terrible uncomfortable and said I should just leave, to which the girl said to wait a minute and that she had "no idea" that her BF would be home this early. I then asked for my "card" for her friend back (thinking for a dumb minute that maybe she was being honest about not knowing the guy was gonna show up), but she started lying her butt off, saying that she had no idea what I was talking about and that I never gave her a card. She told me instead to wait outside the door for a moment - I should've booked it then, but I waited for a minute and she asked me back in, saying that I could instead see her friend, who she claimed was as good looking as her. There was one stipulation, however: her "BF" had to come with me, IN MY CAR, to go pick her up a few blocks away... every fiber in my being told me to get the hell out of there, so I said no thanks and quickly got back to my car and drove away.
About an hour later, I get a text back from the girl, saying again that she was sorry and that she really did want to see me (since I did give her a donation) and that I should call her back in 30 minutes to set up a better time - I told her that she was going to come see me instead (no way in hell I was going back there), which she initially agreed to. However, upon calling her back a second time, I was instead greeted to the voice of her "boyfriend" on the phone. He said that since this was his "girl", that he and I needed to reach an understanding first and that I should come back to the apartment to talk with him, that he wanted me to pay a "monthly insurance fee" so his girl could be safe and that way, he would personally drive her up to whatever city/town I live in so I could see her every month.... I hung up, deleted everything off it, broke it in half, and threw it away (much later I bought a new hobby phone).
Everything that I just described that happened to me also happened to the guy I know (except he never texted the girl back after she did when he left the apartment). Just BEWARE in Rapids, guys (this girl has gone by several names in Rapids, included Sapphire and Rain).
