Is there anyone who has experience doing this. I was told by the criminal clerks office that after my record is expunged I can apply to have my record sealed and destroyed. But the city prosecutors office told me that this is hardly ever granted because its like saying you were never guilty or something like that. Just wondering if anyone here knows???
I am about to take on exactly this issue for a client for whom I have expunged prior convictions.
