I had same questions and concerns until I finally met with a great lady last week ... I worried for nothing ... big hotel made it easy ... in fact, I even saw a sterotype (unbelievably bad dress and shoes) getting directions from a bell hop to a room!  And I was worried with a real professional who dressed well!  It went very smooth ...

Thinking of making my first plunge.  Maybe I've seen too many movies, but what are the odds of running into an LE problem?  How would it occur, and what would be the legal consequences, hypothetically, if there was an illegal pay for services?  Do the providers usually live in shady (unsafe) neighborhoods?  Are there going to be angry ex-boyfriends with knives?

Some of your questions may be answered a bit better in the legal corner (menu on your left). There are several ways it could occur, too many to go into here. As for the question re: providers living in shady neighborhoods...the only shade here is from the trees. No, we don't all live in unsafe areas. Do you? That would be a concern of the provider is doing an outcall to your location.  There may be some angry ex boyfriends, but they won't have knifes, just oozys. Did I spell that right? I guess I could go ask the shady charecters outside my door. j/k

The UZI.

The Uzi (Hebrew: עוזי‎;) is a family of guns that started with a compact, boxy, and lightweight submachine gun. Smaller and newer variants are considered machine pistols. The first Uzi submachine gun was designed by Uziel Gal in the late 1940s. It was manufactured by Israel Military Industries, FN Herstal, and others.

Yes, bad things can happen. The best way to assure that they don't is to stick with well-reviewed providers here on TER. If you are inexperienced it's best to stay away from Craig's List.  Let the reviews here on TER guide you in the right direction. At the risk of sounding like a snob, the danger of unsafe neighborhoods and knife wielding ex boyfriends has a lot to do with the level of service that you are willing to pay for.

LOL.....I knew 'oozy' didn't look right!!  Thank you for correcting me! I also enjoyed the info you provided along with it. Oh....and Bostonguy57....no, you do not sound like a snob. I very much agree with you. Given the choice of (if I were a hobbiest) seeing a provider in a safe area as opposed to a lower end part of town I would choose the safe one. Where there is already a higher degree of crime in an area, there will be more focus on that area. We definatly don't want to draw more attention to ourselves than needed. Like the gentlemen say...read read read the reviews. Most hobbiests will add a little something about the incall ie: clean, safe, comfortable.

If you see established ladies (minimum of 4-5 reviews by reviewers with about the same number of reviews) your risk is minimal.  The better the lady's history of reviews the more likely you will have a wonderful experience.  Read the reviews (VIP needed for the juicy details); don't just read the profiles (may be old and outdated) or look at the pics.
