Love this state so much! I love that I can be out in nature everyday. Men & are nice, it's a beautiful state, good healthy food to eat, gorgeous skies... But the biting ants are my only complaint 
Carry Bay leaves or peppermint oil.. Ants have strong sence of smell and should be deterred by these.
Colorado, what's up with the biting ants here? It was so funny tho, I was hiking in the mountains last week, and had to pee. When I squatted down tho, I guess I accidentally peed on a little anthill. I got bit then by ants! Any tips to not get bit out here? Spiders never bother me and I like them anyway. But the ants are getting me now even when I sit in the grass.

You don't go down on an anthill like you would a dick, Cam! Leave a little space, don't squat so low! My 2c worth
