Two handles... how many more?

Why the need to hide behind this new handle?

Your handle, you posted under a different name. Now we get an another name, why the name change, hum...Another technical glitch or were you beings secretly "Black balled".  Or did she fitch a bitch and threaten to expose you? That thread came on 2/19 or about so now we see the retraction, ok.
You seemed very upset at that time....you didn't strong arm her did you?? Or maybe she threw in a freebie as to make it up to you? Regardless I just found it kinda amusing and it's not like I would see her anyway... But I kinda believe your first post when you complaint/bitch about her.

I posted earlier on a NCNS with an SF provider, Serena Ariel.

With some delay, Serena resurfaced with an explanation. We also had a technology glitch which contributed to communication and much misunderstanding.

Mea culpa. I retract my earlier post which is not reflective of Serena and apologize to the community.
I'm confident existing clients and prospects will ignore the development but this adds needed clarity.

You called her a complete flake and arrogant.  Now you are apologizing to the community.  We can not even count how many clients she's lost because of your reactive behavior and very mean alert about her.

You made the choice to drive to the appointment after.... she did not confirm the day before.

You are apologizing to the community - you didn't hurt the community, you hurt her.  How would you feel if someone did this to you in your business where you make a living, pay your rent or mortgage and feed your family?

You hurt her reputation - you put it out there.  In the real world people sue for this:

Defamation of character occurs when someone makes a false statement about you that causes you some type of harm. The statement must be published (meaning some third party must have heard it), false, and it must result in harm, usually to the reputation.

...are real pieces of work.

Glad you got some closure in your situation.

If you are going to mention someone by name, it is best to give then time to explain what happened and maybe make it right if possible.  There are a lot of providers AND clients that are real pieces of work.

Once I even had a provider go off on me when I mentioned a little etiquette issue on a board just as a reminder to people to exercise common courtesy.  She had decided not to wait for me to reconfirm the time and just left to visit family instead instead.  So I didn't know until later when I tried to get ahold of her to reconfirm.  The thing is, I had not even outed who she was!!!  It was just a general comment on etiquette and common courtesy.  But she realized I was talking about her and apparently felt like having an argument.  She did contact me two or three days later, admitted being childish, and apologized.  Regardless, she was a real piece of work to act that way.  It was possibly more suggestive of a personality disorder, bad PMS, or something along those lines.  Something was seriously wrong for her to act that way.  Especially since I had not even stated who it was.

I have no problem mentioning someone by name...and in fact did just that. To this day (and it's been MONTHS since she pulled a NCNS on me) she has not only never apologized, but refuses to even acknowledge it happened despite many opportunities to do so. I am all for giving someone on either side of the equation plenty of time to come forth and explain and offer up at least some kind of apology. The bitch I was dealing with refused. So fuck her and those like her.

NCNS = BS.  And BS needs to be called out. By name.  Lopaw is da man, so to speak.....

Yeah if the issue I mentioned had been an actual NCNS I would have been more pissed and maybe posted name.  In this case, we had agreed on a date and that late evening would be fine, shooting for around 10:00 PM or earlier if I could swing it.  She said no problem, that her schedule was wide open then.  Rather than check in with me or let me know, she just decided to go visit family instead.  So I continued planning my day around that is rushing the people I was traveling with.  Then when I tried to contact her around 5:00 PM to confirm a time and do closer to 9:00 PM if possible.......crickets.  I considered it more inconsiderate, flakey, behavior rather than an actual NCNS incident.  By that time it was too late to make other plans for that day.

On the plus side, I did make plans with a great lady at a slightly lower rate the next night who became a favorite to visit when in that area.  I would not have met her if the first one had not flaked.  Unfortunately, she eventually retired from this after finishing grad school.

sugarcoat it.  Call a spade a spade.  Lol
