I thought I was;
Seven years ago I didn't follow my own screening protocol to the "tee" and acquired a severe stalking situation. I missed one small detail. In one hour my life completely changed. I had to leave all my ad sites including this one, go underground, change my name, my number, my pictures, forfeit my apartment etc.
A few years later when I resurfaced and thought I had the screening process down to a perfect science; I let someone in who robbed me. I won't tell you how he did it as I don't want to give anyone ideas, but let me tell you; he was very clever in a way I could have never imagined. The guy was the nicest guy in the world and 65 years old! Strike 2!!!
In addition; I've heard unpleasant stories from the men's side as well. This is why belonging to TER, paying that membership fee and getting whitelisted for the ladies can be incredibly helpful. Real safety is about getting as much information on a person as you possibly can. No; I haven't been hired to sell TER, but I am trying to sell safety. I learned to never leave a stone unturned and since then I've kept myself safe. I hope others will take what I had to learn the hard way and apply it to themselves.

but not all screening is 100% any one can slip tho or change
Very sorry to hear about those incidents. I guess that explains why you suddenly disappeared for awhile.
Agree that we all need to be safe, on both sides. One problem I see is all those screening pages that ask for full personal information but are not even behind an https secure protocol site. Having a secure email would be even better. Ladies, please do a little more for information security on the internet. This is good for both sides as well.
