There are two classes of people there: The workers that keep things running, and the retired people that have the money. Most of the men there that can afford to hobby can't get it up enough to enjoy hobbying, so the local talent is mostly third-tier girls, or worse. Since you don't need much wood for a HJ, AMP's are around for that. Touring girls that are decent sometimes come for a week or two on a working vacation, but for the most part, its pretty amateurish. Living in Palm Springs (Coachella Valley) for 16 years- not my original choice when I moved to CA in 2000 but twist of fate and decent, secure job, I'm here. Anyway, if you are Old, Rich and/or Gay this place is great. Single, Straight and not on Medicare, this place basically sucks as for Hobby action, rip-offs and Backpage bottom feeders. I saw a girl in Palm Desert condo a few times who had a rocking body- former dancer/model- for FBSM but she moved out of state about 7 years ago; when I hobby, I travel to LA or OC.
And there's a fabulous swingers resort called Sea Mountain Inn... perhaps we could arrange to meet up there and have some fun in the New Year!
