what would you do?

So I thought I would keep this to the Los Angeles community as this involves an LA based provider. I set up an appointment, she checks my references, everything is good to go. She sends me this email to confirm for the next night:

"I just wanted to confirm we are on for tomorrow night at xxxx. BTW I have a xxxxxx saved in my phone and I wanted to see if this was you. This xxxxxx was in his mid xx's and in the (field I am not apart of). I met him at a hotel in LA a few months back with a (totally different area code). From the description you gave me this doesn't sound like you but I just wanted to be sure."

Now mind you I gave her my height/weight/age/facial features (no pic)/ and we texted. I have never received an email like this in my 6 years of hobbying needless to say I immediately cancelled. From what she has been communicating via email she says she is new to the biz. My question is would you have cancelled or gone through with the appointment.

P.S. she is in the elite price range so for this type of thing to occur is ridiculous.

I'm not sure why her message made you cancel.

She was just being cautious, nothing more, unless of course she gave you his name, work place and actual phone number, from what you have typed above, it's difficult to tell if she actually did this.

If she did, then oops, she should have never done this.  But if she didn't, i don't see why it irked you so much. Sx

I'd ask her if she meant to confuse you for another guy...if she's new to the business she probably doesn't have a good flow set in place for client management. Especially if she books herself and it's a busy season, she might just be getting flustered. She might be using a booker and that booker is messing up. Lots of variables on this one.

When in doubt, always ask a pointed and direct question. Make your judgement call based on her answer. If it still doesn't sit well with you, go on that bass fishing trip you were thinking about or take that Thai cooking workshop. There's always other providers to see. :)

Happy hobbying

Like Shaunna, I'm confused about your apprehension and your freak out over this. A simple follow up to her questions might have further helped explain her asking you that,  but it seems like you have already slammed that door shut.

Agreed. I'm also confused about the OP's apprehension and his freak out over the question.

a provider who has been seeing other men when you made the appointment?  I'm sure providers don't remember every one they saw.  She probably had a bad experience with the other guy and just wanted to make sure you weren't the same guy using a different phone/email.  I would have kept the appointment.  I know providers see other customers.  As long as she doesn't have semen on her breath when she gives me the first DFK, then I'm good with whatever.  (If she has pussy on her breath, then I know she just saw Lopaw, but I'm good with that, too.)

I wouldn't necessarily say I freaked out. The door was left open to reschedule. My point was that I gave her ALL pertinent information age/race/phone number/occupation. She responded with asking if I was this person based solely on the same name. Age ten years younger/ occupation not even close/phone number that I had been texting on also way off. And the price for which services were being rendered are too high to get this kind of response in my opinion.

Thanks for the responses. Just wanted to hear some feedback.
