Haha....
This is a tough question for keeping it under $15 bucks but I'd probably cheat and do a themed potluck. On second thought, maybe meat loaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, and french bread.
I like your answer too, Ashley. Problem is, when we make spaghetti, 15 bucks won't make it.....
LLAP,

Canned green beans and the neighbors pigeons. A couple bottles of MD80 or EJ so nobody realizes it's not chicken.

I can make a massive amount of chicken fried rice, it makes a ton and is a favorite with lots of siracha sauce!!
But it's got to be a BYOB affair.
The cashews in the korma might push this just a tad over $15.....but it's worth it :
Add some sunny side up fried egg and spam or pork meat and take it to another level of deliciousness baby!!
Kpower!!!!
OK so that's a slight exaggeration, but only because I like to eat WELL!
I'd make:
~ massaged kale salad (raw) with orange juice, olive oil, minced raw garlic, shredded beets & toasted sunflower seeds (this is the star of the show... even if you hate salad you'll probably have a second helping... unless you hate garlic, then you're fucked)
~ roasted sweet potatoes (naturally caramelized but savory) w/ roasted garlic
~ sloppy-joe style red lentils
~ homemade english muffins if I can assume I already have yeast at home; otherwise fried toast
~ 1 poached egg each
If my friends don't eat eggs and/or bread I'll substitute a second roasted vegetable, probably butternut squash or maple-syrup-roasted brussel sprouts (they'll surprise you).
4-6 people for $15 is easy for me if I can assume I have basics like spices in my kitchen already. When I cater for 200-500 people, I often have a base food cost of only $2-3 per person. Most of my costs are in labor, kitchen rentals, paper goods, transportation, etc.

My attractions are very pheromone-based (i.e. No mater what you look like, if I like the way your sweat tastes then I'm hot for you), and I am 200% more attracted to guys whose fluids taste like they eat garlic regularly. Garlic is awesome for health and the food of the gods IMO. I'm hot for guys who eat tons of garlic and that's a fact. LOL
Red beans, sausage & Rice, Greens and cornbread!.....mmmmm Thanks Ashley now I'm hungry hahaha
You're welcome Cilla. Lol.
