but what i've always done is  

a) make sure both women know & like each other

b) make sure they have played together before so they are compatible

c) see each one separately so i know if i'm compatible w/both individually

I've tried this quite a few times and generally it goes much better when you've been with both partners individually in the past.   I booked a duo in Vegas years ago with girls I didn't know... went terrible.   I've done duos with with a girl I knew and a partner she brought along... that's a crap shoot.   One time, I was more attracted to the second girl than the one I knew, and another time wasn't attracted to her at all.
