When I lived in a building with a doorman or a security guard (in my case it depended on the time of day), I always alerted the desk of when I was expecting a guest. They were there for my protection, not to surveillance of my home life. I didn't have to explain that it was a colleague or a relative or a girlfriend or what. I never had any suspicious degree of traffic, so there was never a problem.
People who sell drugs or providers who are highly active in their apartment would around suspicion if they had a lot of traffic. If you have one or two ladies a month visit, you'd probably be safe. But let them know ahead of time that you're expecting a guest. Then there will be no need for questioning them at the door.If you live in a building with A Doorman or Concierge how do you guys deal with this? Are visitors asked questions? Do the desk people give you a hard time, ask questions? This question is regarding having escorts at your own place.
I'm just curious?
