about losing-not good but he did apologize profusely today to those he called cowards and cheaters for not running their horses in the first 2 races-kudos for that
I agree with Mr Coburn. I realize it's his choice to race his horse or not, but I also feel as though all horses should run all races... If the horse is injured or what not, then out of the TC running...
Ah, well..... at the end of my day it really didn't matter as I don't even bet on horses LOL

That horse is a breeding fluke.
They spent about a nickel bringing him up and made about a million times their initial investment.
The one owner whining really po'd a ton of peeps.
Cheap breeding just like his horse.
Chrome came back from the race with a decent gash on his foot, still ran 5th, less than 3 lengths off the winner. Ran a mile and a half with the gash and was that close. I think he was the one, just had a bad break, he either had it stepped on at the start or he kicked himself at the start, he obviously had a bit of a stumble that was obvious.
I don't agree with the owner that the rules should be changed, all the prior winners had to deal with running against horses who did not run in the two previous races in the crown series.
But I can understand him being angry and frustrated not to win after being that close, never will he be that close again that is almost assured. People critical of the guy will most likely never be in that position themselves, I'd be pissed to and when they shove a microphone in someone's face right after the event sometimes emotion wins over, rather see that than some phony rehearsed reaction.
