Lasorda said he's been friends with Donald Sterling for 30 years and wasn't surprised by what he said. He didn't condemn Sterling's remarks; he just said Sterling shouldn't have said those things.

...some of the things Lasorda said. He was mad at Steve Garvey for swinging at a pitch in the dirt so he said:
"He woulda made a fuckin' great fuckin' cricket player, hittin' the fuckin' ball on one fuckin' bounce!"
But the absolute best was Lasorda's reaction to Kurt Bevacqua who accused Lasorda of ordering his pitcher to throw at a batter...
