the only thing she provides is illegal tape recordings and a world of Shit..

I wouldn't see her even at  200 an hr... Especially since she can't keep her mouth shut

I'd say instead of getting mad, like any other person of color would get after the crap he said to her, she got even.

Can you honestly imagine telling your half black GF not to associate with other black people in public? and don't forget she's half Mexican to boot, every Chicana I have ever met would cut your balls off in your sleep if you were to say some shit like that about her "familia". So instead cutting off his "huevos" she cut off his financial balls, Fuck him, he deserved it.

As for him getting kicked out of the NBA, while I will agree it's a very slippery slope, he belongs to a very elite club of billionaire with a common interest, "to make money" They decided he was bad for business and threw him out of the club. I have a hard time disagreeing with their actions.

and yes, I would give her at least $200 hr, probably $300, unless we were "south of the border" in that case she'd only get about $100

Should have stayed there...but the GF figured that extortion is a way to make some more money.  And she's an OK looking hooker...but for $ 1.8MM much better can easily be had.

I've texted with Don and he's over here now.  But he's a cheapskate and isn't ready to pay for VIP.  So who knows what he may end up with next.  Maybe he'll even post here?

Remember the Branch Rickey debacle?  This is different obviously, but so far blown out of proportion it's pathetic.  He is what he is...and if all those folks that he's been paying for decades think so little of him why the hypocrisy (as in gladly accepting his money)?

Oh...that's right.  He pissed off a shit load of people over the years so here was a convenient way to lynch him.

Anybody notified IRS yet on the hooker?  I'm sure she'll claim those were all gifts.  Odd...I don't think Don filed a gift tax return.  I think that Don may have a few friends still  LOL

I've heard offensive stuff during pillow talk, via text, etc.  But if I'm being paid a few mil-- hell, even a few hundred, you deal with it.  I don't have the same political views/racial views as older white men.  I prefer to not even get into those discussions with them.

If she was really that offended, she could've just dumped the client/bf.  But no, the millions of dollars were not enough for her.  She needs to ruin him as well.  I guess from a provider standpoint, I'm slightly more disgusted with her than I am with him.

That's why most of us prefer hookers over gold digging GF's or wives.

but throwing out the hooker rule book and employing the gold digger rule book instead, what she did was probably justified in her mind. I bet you he constantly degraded her that way, and his bigotry was not just an isolated incident, and I can't imagine anyone listening to that kind of degrading talk for any amount of money, so as hard as I try, I just can't muster up any sympathy for either of them.

He got the company (and pussy) of a young chica for quite some time that he could verbally and emotionally shit on, and she got well paid for the abuse. It looks like finally she couldn't take it anymore, took her severance pay, AND a pound of flesh to boot. They all deserve each other.

BTW there is a huge difference between being "not PC" in your speech and being a total bigot. Sterling never used words like nigger or spic, but his racism cut to the bone, and was/is a fundamental part of who he is.

He's a bigot...no issue or questions there.

But he's a fair bigot...content to pay those he is bigoted against for performing the tasks he's paying for.

If folks hate what he spews...go and play in another sandbox.  This is nothing but a payback by those high rollers (and pussies in the NBA) to rid themselves of someone who they didn't like.  Happens every day of the week on lower levels and no one ever hears that shit.

Frankly I hope Don fucks these assholes and ingrates over.  Either way I don't think he's going to need "tag day" to pay his bills  LOL

I'm still trying to convince him to pony up for VIP...and not just look at the pretty pictures.  Backchannel is so important here  ;)

You know, slave owners provided housing and food for their Black slaves and didn't think there was anything racist about actually owning human beings. The whole "at least he employed them" excuse/argument is so ridiculously off-base. Sterling is a racist who has been sued in the past for his racism and is FINALLY actually getting penalized for it. He can go drive off a bridge for all I care, I'm GLAD he was exposed and that he's being punished, regardless of how much he pays his Negro worker bees.

No one was forced to work for this man...no one!!  But since he was paying some astronomical salaries to guys to play a game they were fine with this.  And for that hooker to bitch about him being racist...well, no one was forcing her to stay and drive a half million dollar car...have an unlimited credit card and live a lifestyle she'll never see again.

HUGE fucking difference between slavery....pathetic argument and you watch too much Jesse Jackson bullshit.  Try and think for yourself when presenting an argument.  That I would respect.

As for Don...he is what he is.  I'll bet that you would see him in a heartbeat..so long as he's willing to pay you.  And that knowing what a fucking racist he is.  Does that make you a slave as well?  Or you could lie and claim "I'll never see an asshole like him".  Easy to make that bullshit comment.

As for his "punishment"...he'll never live long enough to spend the billions of dollars he has.  This silly lynching notwithstanding  LOL

Other sports (as well as entertainment) are trying to keep racism and bigotry from the forefront as well.  Decrying that it's horrible and expelling those who say what they think isn't a solution.  Education is...and guys like Don are all over the place.  As well they will likely continue in the world.Using

Pimpathy460 reads

Can you, or anyone else point out what Don Sterling said that was racist?

racist

1. of or relating to the belief that races have distinctive cultural characteristics determined by hereditary factors and that this endows some races with an intrinsic superiority over others

2. of or relating to abusive, discriminative or aggressive behaviour towards members of another race on the basis of such a belief

There have been several accusations that he has been anything but fair. and I can't blame the other NBA owners for protecting their own interests.

Mark Cuban made it rather clear that he was torn between starting down that slippery slope that could some day apply to every owner in the league, and protecting the interests of said league from a backlash of racial indignation from one of the leagues biggest demographics.

Can you imagine a person of authority in NASCAR (sorry, but I don't even know who that would be) coming out and bashing rednecks? That person would have his head on a spit before the day was over, the same as what happened to Sterling. The other owners weren't being vindictive, they were looking out for their own interests.

Grandson of NASCAR founder Bill France.
You're welcome.

In 1999 Ted Turner told a racist joke.

Mr Turner made his joke during a speech to the National Family Planning and Reproductive Association in Washington.

When a member of the audience asked him what he would say if he ever met the Pope, himself a Pole, Mr Turner said: "Ever seen a Polish mine-detector?" and pointed at his foot.

Jokes casting doubt on the intelligence of Poles are common in certain parts of the United States

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/283424.stm

Turner, also owns tuner sports. You can't watch a televised NBA game with out putting money in TT's pocket.

By default, anyone who watches a televised NBA game is racist

A person of authority?  Really?

As an owner of a business I'm free to think how I want to think.  When any body is going to gag (pun intended) me on my thoughts (and expressing those thoughts publicly) is the time to realize that a free and capitalistic market is no longer free.

I'm not agreeing with Don and his bullshit...you know how I feel about all intolerances.  But to hang the dude over what he believes is pathetic.  And self-serving amongst the power brokers in sports.

Follow the money...it's an easy way to find the truth.  So I absolutely agree that the owners (and related interested parties) don't want to lose some sponsorship.  But history has also shown that this shit blows over quickly and if money is to be made (and Don is VERY good at doing that)...the lemmings will follow.

If the NBA had not dealt with this, it would have cost them billions, and set the NBA back a decade at least. This shit would NOT have blown over quickly and would have been a black eye for the NBA for years to come.

There are millions of people who feel just like Don Sterling, and to tell the truth unless they are in a position to impact my life, I plain don't give a fuck, but Sterling's words definitely affected the entire NBA and I don't blame them for dropping him like a $10 hooker.

If the NBA had dragged their feet on this, it would have looked like they really didn't care and were only doing it because of the public pressure. By acting quickly and decisively they can at least "appear" that they did so out of outrage and not to protect their own interests. We all know they did it because it was going to cost them billions, but they got ahead of it and the NBA will come out of this relatively unscathed. Dragging their feet would have been a PR disaster.

I don't agree with however.  But then I also have no skin in that game.

Maybe I should make a bid on the Clippers...but I would want to only field a team of short(er) white men and an Asian player.

And certainly no way would I have a skank like he did...for that coinage I'd want Lindsay Lohan  ;)

I suspect that line-up will offend quite a few...don't you think?  I don't think I'd need to say a word!

Ooop...that would be a hockey team  :D

Yes, there is still plenty of racism around, but you can't do much about individual racism, institutional racism is quite a different matter.

Hiring a team of short white guys and an Asian would be just fine IF they could compete. I am Asian and I don't get my feelings hurt just because we aren't "fairly" represented in the NBA. Quite the contrary, I would be quite offended if they made a quota for Asian players, if I can't get something on my own merits, I don't want it. I refuse to be the "short fat kid" that the coach forces someone to pick. Competitive sports are just that, competitive, and you are supposed to hire the very best no matter what color they are.

Don wasn't in a position to speak for the sport...simply as a bigoted asshole who happens to like owning a sports team.  And he also likes to have a hooker as his GF...and rightfully so.  Except that hooker (or as you commented gold digger...different rules  LOL) didn't understand that pissing off her SD wasn't part of the deal.  Shit...Don should hire BSC Taylor and see just how much fun life can really be.

As well your argument for putting a competitive team on the court, field or rink is weak...VERY weak.  The Chicago Cubs are fielding a team of AA and AAA kids charging full fucking price for seats.  Same could be said of a number of franchises in sports as well.

I am not disagreeing with your position as you are indeed correct...however I am sick of the bullshit that the PC crowd is shoving down peoples throats.  And I doubt that if I put out an all-white and one Asian player out there on the court that I (as the new ownership) wouldn't be hearing it from the Jesse Jackson's of the fucking world about "racism".

Which way would you like to play this?

Once the words were out there, he was accountable for saying them.  It no longer mattered whether what his SB did was "kosher."  That was then beside the point.  If someone is a bigot with the attitude of a plantation owner over his field hands, the NBA had no choice but to deal with it.
And remember, this isn't Sterling's first brush with charges of racism.  His chickens came home to roost.
Now the other owners will force him to sell the team he paid $12 million for in 1981 for half a billion. Poor guy.

I think Sir Charles put it best. He said that Sterling bought the Clippers for 15 million dollars and now they're valued at about a billion. Not gonna hurt Sterling in the least unless you take into account his pride.

and very easy to look at her as a "victim" but if she is a victim, she is a very well paid one, and I can't work up much sympathy for her either.

For the $2MM dollars or so he gave her, he could have bought himself 4,000 hours of pleasure at $500 hr. Somehow at his age I doubt he has 4,000 of sex left in his entire life.

Not to mention of course that the two mil he gave her directly is going to seem like a drop in the bucket after all the fall out from this tape is counted. I bet you he is already saying to himself "I should have stuck to hookers"

I think she's attractive. Not sexy to me, but certainly attractive. More than a 6.

He was seen numerous times with her at games and galas (according to photos and the press reports).
Plus she was a total idiot by exposing herself on Instagram showing off the cars, the gifts etc, obviously that really upset his wife who is also at fault for suing her, they should of handled all this issues privately so none of this would of happened.
More likely, she will get to keep all the toys (generally by law, gifts can not be taken back), gain fame, become a reality star, talk to Oprah etc..
Donald Sterling is totally done because of his ego, people can overlook the affair, the gifts, deceiving his wife etc.. but racism...? never.. specially when his team is composed by the minorities that he attacked..
I praise the Adam Silver for banning him from the NBA, I foresee he will need to sell the Clippers so they can recover the sponsors they lost over this shameful episode.
