I'm wondering what reference information I could provide? Telephone number, photo, copy of driver's license or passport, home address, etc? I thought it was easy to Google just about anyone and get all the info you need on them. I do have personal references. But, don't know how discreet a provider would be in contacting them.

There seem to be quite a lot of agencies in Montreal and also Toronto. I don't know whether they go through the same referral process as the independent girls.

You should be able to find a provider who is newbie friendly and will see you.  My advice would be to start now - contact the girls you are interested in seeing, with a polite and detailed introduction, and see if they will see you.  Once you have seen one girl, you will have your first reference. :)

Do most the ladies use the same type of a screening process in Montreal as they do in the USA? I emailed three agencies in Montreal and asked them what type of screening process they use and they said they just wanted my name, telephone number, and address ( home or hotel). I am wondering if it is worth it to purchase Date Check if they don't use it in Canada? I think I saw where one of the Escorts said on this site that screening is not diligently done in Canada.

Agencies don't really screen clients in Montreal.  Independents vary in their processes.  Definitely don't bother with date check, it's not well used here at all.  P411 is popular with some girls.  Others will simply ask for provider references.

I am hoping you will be in Montreal when I get there. Will be staying for a week or so in an apartment at the end of May and beginning of June. Have not been with an escort in years and, since I took early retirement, don't have any recent employment activity. Also, have not joined P411 or Date Check, as of yet. Are there other ways for a provider to pass a client? By the way, I'm and American.

If it is a first meeting and the gentleman cannot provide me with another lady reference I rely of the exchange of a few emails to get a sense of you, if I think I will enjoy you I accept the booking...
I actually do not want to know your real name and address or work place,just generalities...

You sound like a very intelligent person. And, I do think, since this is each lady's livelihood, they do not want to make it so difficult for the customer that their business suffers. Intending to fly up to Canada within a week or so. Just trying to decided whether I should go to Toronto or Montreal. I've heard good and some not so good about both regarding the provider scene.

Yes, I will be able to do that once I am in Canada. However, I am currently in Florida and wanted to get all of the pertinent information before flying up. Didn't want to get to my apartment or hotel for two weeks and find out that it would be difficult for any provider to see me. It seems that the Canadian scene is a lot less draconian than what we have here in the US. I think our politicians are trying to outlaw sex. They have outlawed just about everything else in this country.

In UK we also don't screen like in USA but then again what I do here is legal, and we pay tax. A minim amount of info is required of course to ensure safety
