I heard that it is somewhat safe using  anonymous email accounts  to contact providers.
The problem is how do you know if the ladies keep your communications. It seems to me that to remember you they should.
Could the ladies explain how they handle this dilemma?
What is an IP address? how is that involved? does each computer have one like a finger print?
Happy Holidays to all!
2008 should be GREAT!

but you can not remain anonmynous yourself.

The provider has to know who you are in order to verify that you are not LE or worse.

The beauty of the anonmynous email account is to protect your communications from the prying eyes of spouses and such.

As for keeping your information, most providers who are discrete will erase it after the appointment however not all do.  For references it is not a good idea to mention a provider whom you haven't seen in more than a few months or they may not remember you.

IP addresses are like a fingerprint but getting them is very complicated and, I also understand, illegal to divulge.

This is interesting to me too.
Is an IP address specific to a computer?.
If the ladies erase your info how can they remember you if you call again. You would expect that they are not just sitting by the phone for your  expecting to be repeating with her.

Basically each computer that is connected to the internet is assigned a four-part numeric address so that it can send and retrieve data over the internet connection.   This address is included in every data packet that is delivered.  This is how computers find each other and how they find websites when you browse the internet.  So yes, if somehow someone gets a hold of the IP address on your communications, it can be traced back to you via your Service Provider, who can be required by law to divulge such information to court subpoena.   If you disconnect and reconnect to the internet, this number can and usually does change to an alternate, similar number.

Having said that, I sincerely doubt that anyone is truly interested in the traffic on your particular IP address.

As far as ladies remembering you, I'll let the providers speak to that.
