I'm typically rather picky about providers I decide to see on a somewhat regular basis.  There aren't many I see multiple times a year, around 4 or 5.  They need to have a variety of extra good qualities such as fair dealing, dependability, honesty, personality, low or at least low/medium volume, usually geographically easy or willing to come to me, etc.  This past week really confirmed I make good selections.  
   
 I'm having minor elective surgery tomorrow.  Nothing major like BPJ, I should mostly be back in action in a week.   However, I can't drive myself, needed someone to take me and pick me up, and preferably baby sit me for awhile after in case an issue comes up.    
   
 I knew my number #1 best buddy would have helped but she is the one exception to my geographically easy guideline and is way to far.  
   
 But I was beyond touched when another favorite of mine was willing to come up and take me.  Especially since I have not known her quite as long as some of other favorites and she didn't owe me any favors.  Of course I'm picking up the cost of that extra hotel night and got her a couple of thank you gifts.  But still, wow.  
   
 Then to top it off, I contacted another favorite of mine this evening who have plans with next week to give her a heads up that we might have to take it easy, and she was also willing to drive up and take me.  Another big wow.  
   
 This has been such a great reminder for me about just how many really great ladies there are out there in this business.  We gripe about the flakes, the scams, and the frauds so much and often for good reason.  
   
 It times like this though that I really want to take my hat off and say thank you to all the honest, fair, and dependable ladies in this business for doing us guys the honor of being in the business!   It sure beats the hell out of just hanging around with Rosie Palm and her Five Friends.
