I gone to a really cool one in Montclair called the Montclair Loop and sometimes I just run along side of the beach. What cool areas for running do some of you use?

for great views and a kick butt hike up the hill try Temescal Canyon in the Palisades.  Not really a running trail as the the vertical climb is pretty steep.   Solstice Canyon is more runable.  Then taking the trail more up the hill can get some views.  like going to the top of Coral Canyon road.  Really good views up there.  More fire roads so you could run those.  Further up the PCH are Zuma Ridge and Charmlee Wilderness Park super views and waterfall which might actually have water right now.

I usually like going to the beach (marina del rey-santa monica)A good run, but it is quite a drive and I don't really like the 405, and the 405 doesn't like me. Lol

I like going to the Wilson Canyon Park for some good trails.  Veterans park has this road that goes uphill.  A great work out. In fact, I should add that to my list.

Oh theres also a cool trail near Porter Ranch.

they're replacing a water pipe that goes thru the trail

Lots of trails in Griffith park that are fun to run, esp if u like hills.   Malibu Creek state park has a bunch of nice trails.

Spectacular views of the entire LA basin, SFV and Santa Monica.  Shuttle both ends.  It's popular with mountain bikers, but courtesy is common.  Old Nike missle base along the way.  Lots of side trails to explore.  Just watch for my pet bobcat Rufus. He's harmless to people but may go after little dogs.

Griffith Park and Malibu Creek are both great.
