It's so frustrating when that happens with the over/under

I can't remember what the under was but I had a under total earlier this year with Miami and the Spurs, the Spurs are down 20something points with 30s, at this point I have the under by 3 points.. now instead of running the 30s out with the game already over both of those fuckers score twice to screw me lol.

But I've also been on the other side on the coin where I got lucky with a last shot so I take the good with the bad.

Whatchyer poison? Pitting the 2 professional sports against each other, which would you choose as TV viewing? If you were limited to only 1?

A friend of mine, many years ago, decribed basketball as........2pts for team A.......2pts for team B.......and contining in that boring fashion.

Personally I enjoy the fast paced action on the ice moreso than the "fastbreak".

Y tu?

I never really understood NHL. It doesn't do me anything.. It makes me dizzy if anything.

I have a civvie Canadian friend who invited me to NHL playoffs one time. Caps were playing with some Canadian team Vancouver or Toronto.. I forgot. It was back in 2010..I was so bored, I volunteered myself to drive and get them beer when they ran out of alcohol....lol

Tom Dwan is the best poker player I've ever seen.

Yeah man I'm a huge Golf fan, some people hate it but I love it. I have a new found respect for golfers I tried to play but its hard as hell if took me five tries to make one putt lol.

I really can't watch NHL although I bet on it.

Football, both NCAA and NFL have to be at the top of my list, I can even watch football without betting on it, most sports bore the crap out of me if I don't have any action on the game.

BTW What place are your Nats in right now?

Go Braves!!!

Sorry Curly, I am going to enjoy this while it lasts, I am not too terribly confident that I will still be laughing come September, but I am going to yuck it up as long as I can, because I know payback is a bitch

might as well start enjoying the golf tournaments.

Funny thing is GaG like you I use to hate hockey until I started to bet on it... after watching it I love hockey now although my pick to win it all St. louis blues aren't looking to good right now

conversely, I can watch and enjoy a basketball game. I much prefer the NCAA variety but I can watch either, but I don't really like to bet on it mainly because I rarely make money.

Gambling is mainly entertainment for me, but it's a lot more entertaining to win than to lose. What I really hate about betting on round ball is the "garbage time" at the end of many games, it plays havoc with both point spreads and over/under bets, too many games come down to a meaningless shot at the buzzer, or one simply not taken as the outcome of the game is no longer in doubt, but not the outcome of the bet. I know it happens in other sports as well, such as running out the clock in football, but it doesn't seem to cost me as much money in those other sports.

Thank you Boston Bruins. I had the Bruins -1 1/2 over 5 this afternoon, with waaaay less than a minute left and the score 3-2 they hit an empty netter to win 4-2. That's what I love about the NHL.

I love it when a good plan comes together!

I have the same bet on the Rangers today. Can lightning strike twice? I would settle for even a win/push at 4-1, but 3-1 and time counting down, I need some help.

4-2 final. I got a small bet on the blues today send some of that luck my way lol

You just never know until those last few seconds in hockey.

I will be sure to root for the Blues today, especially since I would have taken the BlackHawks at home today, but I didn't like the chances of them coving the puck line, and I really don't like to bet the money line, so I simply passed on the game and bet baseball instead.

I hate to skip a game only to be right about it, I would rather be wrong and feel like I saved money, so Go Blues. lol

you are coming out guns blazing lol, but until that time comes you aren't going to like us very much lol

Four of our star players are hurt.. And 5th got hurt today. We are playing off the bench and AAA

1. Ryan Zimmerman - Thumb Fracture
2. Bryce Harper -  Thumb Strain
3. Doug Fister - Lat strain (hasn't pitched yet in 2014 in MLB)
4. Wilson Ramos

5. Danny Espinosa got hurt today..Hit on knee cap. Left game after first at bat.

You might want to do some more homework on state of our team....I don't mind you busting my chops, but right now ain't the time...

I am the harshest critic of the Nats, because I love them the most too.. I will be first one to tell you when they are playing really bad ball.

Hands down, hockey is the best sport live.  Non stop action.  TV does not do it justice.  I still enjoy it on TV, but not nearly as much as in person.  NBA is full of prima donna's.  League has gotten too diluted.

Both leagues need to limit the number of teams in playoffs.  When 50% if the league makes postseason, something is wrong

Basketball is boring in comparison.  Hockey players are some of the fittest, toughest and most skilled athletes in any sport and the fast paced action of the game is unmatched.  And when the quest for the Cup rolls around every season the play gets ratcheted up even more.

Saints football, rugby or sailing.  If those aren't available might as well spend the afternoon cutting the grass
