This is one of the best perks for athletes, other than the money. If I were a professional athlete, I'd think it would be so exciting to have women in each town waiting for you and wanting to sleep with you. I wonder which towns this happens the most in, probably Miami, New Orleans, and maybe Boston? I think there's too much going on in NY & LA for athletes to be even noticed.

However seeing that the mangina officials got together AFTER the play to determine that a penalty had incurred (which was because they were in St Louis)...I guess one asshole decided that he was "targeting the head" which if you ever played (or coached or refereed) you'd know that wasn't the case. Backes was the moron who went looking down (which we teach the PeeWee's NEVER to do BTW) for a puck and got whacked.
But since I wasn't the ref (or linesman)...guess it is what it is. Just another blown call from a group of officials that can't seem to find their assholes with a GPS, flashlight and road map.
Still you gotta love playoff hockey...simply nothing beats it. Here's hoping the Hawks find a way to continue until June...or God forbid the Cubs/Sox will be the news (until August when the Bears get the press). And that's a crying shame indeed.

48.4 Game Misconduct Penalty – There is no provision for a major penalty for this rule.
48.5 Match Penalty - The Referee, at his discretion, may assess a match penalty if, in his judgment, the player attempted to or deliberately injured his opponent with an illegal check to the head.
If deemed appropriate, supplementary discipline can be applied by the Commissioner at his discretion.
48.6 Fines and Suspensions – Any player who incurs a total of two (2) game misconducts under this rule, in either regular League or playoff games, shall be suspended automatically for the next game his team plays. For each subsequent game misconduct penalty the automatic suspension shall be increased by one game.
If deemed appropriate, supplementary discipline can be applied by the Commissioner at his discretion (refer to Rule 28).
