I'm over 60 and sensitivity is ultimately the same, but definitely diminishes with more frequent activity. I think it just takes the nerves longer to recover, such that multiples are rare and sometimes a few days go by before the urge starts to build. Only good part about this is that it saves money and I'm distracted less of the time. I think I'm headed towards the same spot.
