One of the more common means of screening is to as the potential client of the name and email address of a lady he has visited before. You can then contact her to find out if this guy is trouble.
As mentioned in a earlier post, you need to get a website with a screening form! www.rare-escort.com isn't great, but it is a start.

Date check and 411 have come across my screen when looking. but your best bet is to make friends with another provider and have her walk you through the process. even if only across the internet.
posting on ter boards is good too, but let us know where you are so maybe contact could be made here.
