About an AirBnB owner who has security cameras / nanny cam in the home and didn't disclose it to the renter nor AirBnB.... only remembered that tidbit, and unsure any fallout from it.

As others have said, foot traffic and nosy neighbors with security cameras may be an issue with some gents, and add to it hidden cams...

I'm a native Californian, but as I'm a NY based provider I'm really not sure what the feeling toward apartment / house incall locations.
I've seen some amazing homes on Airbnb with pools, etc that I'd love to book for my next trip out, but wondered how comfortable the LA clientele is entering a home rather than a hotel?

Is it a deal breaker, bonus, or just neutral non issue?

Thanks!

issues I'd have are not knowing if the person has a neighbor checking in for them and keeping an eye on things.  I would hate to upset someone who's renting an airbnb by having a lot of "foot traffic" and many airbnb's specify this..
oftentimes it's either done as a buisness and the person running it would be rightously pissed if a touring provider was a renter, or someones personal home/space.
so..it depends on how many appointments you take on during your tour (if one/two person comes by a day I doubt anyone would care or notice)
how you run your buisness and respecting the person you are renting from are two considerations I'd have while touring and staying in an airbnb

if i really really want to see a lady imo it's her call for in call, so where ever she hangs her louie vittons is where i'll show up.

i must say i prefer a suite in a hotel to just a room with a bed... i like to play on the sofa and chair and if the wind is with me that day with her bent over the desk, etc etc.

saw a lady a couple months ago who rented a guest house in beverly hills, so i got to finger her in the kitchen, get a bj on the sofa, and then lots of fun in the bed room...you get my drift.  variety is the spice of sex as nobody ever said but should have.

that being said, it's the lady i'm seeing, not the environment, as long as it's clean and neat and a bit upscale it's fine with me.

if you were in a private home vivienne i would have no problem going up to the front door and knocking :-)

In my experience some clients don't even like hotels any more (must be LE scare). But it should be fine since you are a visiting provider :) Id book hotel for touring and Airbnb if I want to do Incall in my base city. With hotel you'll get housekeeping, sheet, towel change etc. with Airbnb you might get an owner of the place living next door or a noisy neighbor 😱 I would maybe book hotel for 2 days to see how they react to heavy traffic from my room, if they're ok with that then extend since I've been kicked out of hotels before for doing incalls

I may be wrong but I believe California requires Airbnb owners to live on or adjacent to their rental property. This said I did see a provider in Ohio who used an Airbnb  Apartment. I prefer it to hotels no security cameras

If I'm renting out my house to a stranger, I'd be asking my neighbors to keep an eye on the place and call me if anything funny goes on.  The nice thing about the hotel is there is a degree of anonymity vs. the Nosy Neighbor
