The point was to discourage her from writing such a post. My thinking was that if I stole her thunder, she wouldn't have anything left to write.
And, it appears I may have been correct! Has any other post she's written in the past week been even remotely like the one she wrote here, after I had already stolen her thunder? I think it worked!

There actually was a big influx when things went south elsewhere, but posts like this have steadily convinced them to move on.
I don't really care when you joined, everyone has a moment by moment choice about who they are and how they treat others

But to address the substantive issue, I will also note that perhaps it was Your wet blanketry directed towards my humorous, clever post, that is symptomatic of the reason why this board sees very little in the way of humorous, clever posts.
Lastly, you should review the OP's recent obnoxious behavior on the boards. White Knight defensiveness is neither justified nor deserved.
I post on occasion, though generally not on the SF board. If you look around you'll find them I'm sure. I also post on the reviewers only board. My thought in any event is it's better to post nothing or very little yet be pleasant than to post voluminous amounts of material that's less than positive in nature.
I didn't find your post humorous, though I'm sure you thought it was. It was in the nature of making fun of someone and not in a manner that would make the recipient smile, but rather in the nature of being cruel.
I don't know about her activity elsewhere nor am I familiar with yours, and I really don't care about either. if she attacked you or made inappropriate statements elsewhere then feel free to respond appropriately there. What I don't like is negative attacks made to a positive post as it chills positive conversations and I end up getting less enjoyment from these boards. That doesn't make me a white night, that makes me someone who doesn't like the crazy man ranting in the middle of the street.

I think it's funny that you would opine that her activity on the discussion boards is irrelevant. How so? If you are free to dislike the crazy man ranting in the middle of the street, why am I not equally free?
The real problem is that, in your ignorance of her posts, you failed to realize that she is indeed the crazy man ranting in the street. And without question, her posts have resulted in me and many, many others getting less enjoyment from these boards.
And, you also ignorantly directed me to respond elsewhere, where she attacked my posts. Foolish Nightfalle, this IS where she attacked my post!
Just scroll down. You will see: 1) she made a post asking for the readers' thoughts; 2) I gave her my thoughts -- tough love, but sincere and straightforward; 3) she responded by rudely lying, actually having the nerve to say she hadn't asked for my perspective.
To top it all off she then attacked me on the general board (where I had not attacked her -- gasp!) essentially saying I'm a loser because I need to patronize hookers.
Suffice to say, she is entitled to absolutely no white knight protection whatsoever, she deserves every ounce of criticism and disparagement she gets, and your ignorant defense of her is absurd.

Just admit it, MOST people here really don't like you. I am sure there has to be "someplace" where you could be around people who welcome your particular brand of BSC. Just remember a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and that single step could be telling all of us here on TER to "screw you guys, I am going home" that would fix us, now wouldn't it? toodles.

It takes much more time, effort, money, and sacrifices to present and perform at our best. I truly feel extra appreciated when hobbyists tip but it's never expected. It's an extremely amazing feeling when they want to make that extra gesture to support me on my ventures.
