Delisted Providers...

Way back when, my first review on TER was rejected because the provider was delisted. TER defines "delisted" as:

"The provider has asked to be taken down, banned, was caught posting false reviews, has retired, etc. In short, we won’t carry information about her anymore."

I feel this is problematic--especially if the provider is engaging in less-than honest activity. my first review was a bout a somewhat negative experience--but no one was able to benefit from it. A few months later the provider was back on TER--and there sits my review, unable to warn future-comers of what might be awaiting them.

A mild analogy would be like a movie studio ASKING that you pull any reviews of a film that it isn't doing so well.

If the providers call the shots on a board started by and for
hobbyists--how do we, ultimately, benefit?

It's easly to understand the purpose of this, but unscrupulous providers have ways of getting back on...  The key phrase is "we won’t carry information about her anymore."  They may end up doing it without knowing it...
