Porn is taxed just like any other business.I just did a scene last week and guess what?...takes were already taken out from the check. Federal,State,etc.-gone. The production companies, distributors, manufacturers also pay taxes. 90% of the girls I've driven in the past, didnt pay taxes. When your dealing with cash transactions, its easy to avoid leaving a paper trail.Thats why girls dont like it when clients/hobbists pay with credit cards.

They pay a girl to have sex and it is legal. Can someone please tell me what the difference is in the two.

Thanks

It just seems like a very fine line between what porn actors do and what hobbiest do. This was in an earlier post and it still doesn't make sense.

Theoretically a camera and a model's release form

Pornography is considered one kind of performance, the actors are paid by a third party to perform sexual acts.
And Yes, they do need a license to make movies, they also have to pay taxes to the government.

Two words- Big Business

There are two sets of laws in this country- one for big corporations, and one for everybody else.

This "special right" for the the industry was established by the California supreme court because California is owned by the entertainment industry.

I don't believe in censorship. I am a libertarian. But I absolutely hate the idea of one group of people (the porn industry) having special privileges that the rest of us don't.
