If you have ideas, and are willing to PM me, I can give you some insight on who plans in advance and who doesn't.  Most are fine a few weeks to a month in advance.  There are a few that don't look that far into the future, but in general, all the reputable ladies in LV prefer at least a couple days.

Ok, so I plan on visiting Las Vegas in the March time frame. How far out in advance should I start talking to providers about a visit?

I don't want to start too late and miss out, but I don't want to look like a stalker either.

Yes, I do like to plan things early. :)

I usualy start a month out. So far I've had no problems.

Every provider is obviously different. Some may want you to schedule at least a week in advance while others will only accept same day appointments. No rules.

E-mail around a month in advance the ladies you might wish to see and say the following (after you have introduced yourself in a professional manner): I am visiting Las Vegas the week of March ___ and am interested in setting up an appointment to spend time with you. How far in advance should I confirm the date and time of an appointment?

Let her come back to you and tell you when you should finalize the details.

reading the regional board of the city I am going to visit about 6 weeks ahead to get a feel of the business in that city and see if any ladies post.  I may PM a local or two to ask specific questions.  A month out I make my list of say 5 ladies to see and send inquiring e-mails to see if they are going to be in town and available.  I proceed through the screening process with more than 1 lady so I have a back-up plan.  However, I do not make two dates and then cancel one of them.  That isn't treating ladies the right way.

My first-ever experience (in the modern, computerized era) was last summer in Las Vegas. I started researching about 2 months ahead of time, checking almost all the ad listings. Almost all the top choices referenced TER Reviews, so I became a TER lurker. It's a great way to learn. Obviously, I have since registered.

Based on what I read, I decided to look only for independents.

After about 2 weeks, I found six that I wanted to follow-up with. All, by the way, were on LVDelight (Independents only) and my choices all had great TER Reviews (8s, 9s and 10s). I put them in rank order based on looks, reviews, personalities that came through in their write-ups and, of course, my price range.

Having done my homework, I was prepared for the questions I would be asked. About 5 or 6 weeks before my trip I called my #1 choice. After chatting a bit, I was sure she knew the comeback to "hello" and we made the date. We emailed and spoke on the phone a few times before the big day.

She was my top choice then, and I've seen her on business trips a few times since. Never did get around to #2.
