A few years ago when I was in Japan, I frequented several massage parlors where sex was offered. I noticed two mounted cameras opposite to each other. At that time I felt uncomfortable and I asked my hostess. She said that it is for the lady's security. In the event a customer behaves inappropriately or become violent, security personnel are immediately dispatched. After that encounter I became used to it and did not bother me.
I have not been here in US to a massage parlor to see for myself. But I am sure cameras are in place for security reasons.Ran across some online videos that purported to be recorded by hidden camera in a massage parlor. All faces were pixilated or not shown, both client and provider.
Wondering if this is for real or if the clients actually were unaware.
Over the years I've seen several news reports of motel staff arrested for setting up hidden cameras in cheapo motel rooms and selling the resulting videos to porn sites, so why not MPs?

Why would a MP that may have activities of questionable legality, want a video recording ciculating on the internet?
The first is that the MP owners, looking for some revenue enhancement set up the cameras thinking they can sell the video and are not concerned in that it would be very hard for any particular viewer to trace the video back to their establishment.
The second is that some employee of the facility sets up the cameras (It's incredibly easy to do now.) without the owner's knowledge.
Finally it is even possible that a client, during those few minutes when the gal is out of the room and you are "getting ready", could set up a camera for either his own enjoyment later, or profit.
