SFO or SJC

I'd say Santa Clara, San Jose, or Sunnyvale for the true "Silicon Valley" area, but the SFO area (Burlingame, San Mateo, etc.) is a good central location to draw potential friends from both San Francisco and Silicon Valley.

And ... *WOW*  :)

I still have yet to discover South Bay! I know the economy is booming in Silicon Valley. Its only a short flight away but where to stay? Any recommendations for me ? I am thinking Palo Alto or San Jose.

Your best bet would probably be San Mateo or Palo Alto as they are closer to the SF airport and SF proper for those guys that venture down from 49er country.

I hope you enjoy your stay

I strongly disagree. Palo Alto or San Mateo is about half-way between San Francisco and San Jose. It is not all that convenient to either city due to traffic patterns. It is commonly called the mid Peninsula around here.

The SFO (airport area) is 15 miles from San Francisco. It's not convenient to the South Bay. If she wants to be convenient to the South Bay she should stay in San Jose or Santa Clara.

She will find that South Bay hotels are almost as expensive as San Francisco during the week but go way down in price on weekends since San Jose is not a tourist area.

Because most guys in the San Jose are finicky and steer toward Asian's, (Note cityvibe San Fran listings for that obvious note).

I suggested San Mateo because she will get more guys from SF as well as San Jose, best of both worlds i'd think but hey, been wrong before.

And, with San Mateo, it's almost perfectly between both airports, SF and SJ.

but yes, if she strictly wants San Jose guys, it makes sense to stay in SJ or Santa Clara

San Mateo is the heart of the peninsula and is hardly a profit center for escorts.  It's the WORST of both worlds. To top it off she might want to do something when she is not "working." There is not much to do in San Mateo. It's not really convenient to either city and might be the worst part of the 101 traffic. I don't know what part of the Bay Area you live in but it's not just about distance around here. It's about traffic hassles.

If you are going to market to San Jose you stay in San Jose or nearby Santa Clara, Sunnyvale. If you want to market to San Francisco you stay in San Francisco.

Staying halfway between the SF and San Jose might sound good in theory but does not work well in practice.

The idea that the South Bay is mostly for Asians is equally ridiculous. The AAMP crowd is not the same as the escort crowd. There are plenty of agencies and indies based in San Jose. Most American girls do quite well in San Jose

Try not to put words in my mouth, k!

I did not say South Bay is for Asians.

I said most guys in San Jose steer toward Asians and showed that via pointing you toward the largest ad site on the web.
I won't get into a debate with you on the differences between Aamp and Escort crowds. I see and enjoy them both thoroughly, you are preaching to the choir on that note.

As for where i live, an hour and a half from of San Jose, over 2 hours from San Mateo on good days so traffic is second nature, and I plan accordingly.

Anyway, she will choose where she wants, neither of us are going to sway her.
I just hope once she decides she gives us a bit of notice so I can see her.

Cheers

If targeting a South Bay clientele - the hotels in Santa Clara near the Levi stadium are the best bet.  Its convenient to hobbyists from South Bay, Peninsula, North San Jose as well as East Bay.  Also has an excellent set of hotels due to the convention center.  Not sure if they are pricey or not.
