I don't know if it's seasonal, coincidence, slow business elsewhere or what, but I'm all for it!! It's like every single top-rated, 9.5 or above in the nation has recently come or is coming to (and hopefully in!) the Bay Area.
Now, if only I had money and time enough to see themI heard/read that Sep-Nov has less foggy days over there. I hope to be able to have a clear weather day when walking across the Golden Gate bridge 
Weather preferences are so personal, the only way to be sure is for you to come out and tell us how you like it!
But if you don't mind a bit of a chill (nothing by DC standards, say high 50's to low 70's) it would be perfect for a stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge. Fog is heavy in Summer and Winter, but much less in the Fall. But even in Summer and Winter it varies tremendously by location. SF is full of microclimates, so literally you can go just a few blocks and the weather will feel different. But if there is any fog at all, it would definitely hit the bridge.
Oh it all makes sense now! That's why the bridge pictures are almost always with some fog! I can't wait to see it next month, I love that part of the country!
