When the USA announced their roster for the men's hockey team I was worried about 2 things.
1) Could Jonathan Quick handle the burden of being the number 1 goaltender---suffice it to say he played BRILLIANTLY the entire tournament--could not ask for anything more!!
2) Could this team score consistently---up until today the answer was yes. Today--Canada absolutely SUFFOCATED us--no other way to say it!! We had a few power play chances but by and large we could not generate ANYTHING on the offensive end. Gotta give props to team Canada--they completely shut us down.
Now we have Finland for the bronze--which is not going to be easy. If this team doesn't even get a medal it will be a crushing blow--ESPECIALLY after we started out with such promise!!
I love hockey, I am not one of the crazy ranger fans that you see converging on midtown 41 to 50 something nights a year but i would be if time and money allowed. I do try to watch every hockey game i can on tv, I watched more curling than I need to hoping to find a hockey game before they announced who one on the news.
Given that hockey fans are so passionate
couldnt someone organize the tv so we could get the hockey?
i guess in 4 years google and netflix will work it out
someone in tv executive land figure out how to
a get a good schedule of olympic hockey on tv
I was always just catching this game on the 2nd period!
maybe have one channel just for hockey
