If the US men had lost to Canada in that fashion, we'd be bemoaning it for decades. To give up two goals in the final 4 minutes and then the game winner in OT is about as low as it gets.

Given what was at stake, and how it unfolded, it could go down as one of the biggest disappointments for the United States at an Olympic games. (Right up there with the US men basketball team being robbed of the Gold Medal in 1972....but that one the US was just cheated out of a gold; this one they lost)

No doubt--that was a crushing way to lose--I feel very badly for the American women's team--especially considering how well they've played throughout the Olympics--even better than the men's team up until today!! They were dominating their opponents and looked like they had this one salted away. You've heard it time and time again--you have to keep playing hard until the final whistle---they may have eased up just enough to open the door for the Canadians.

That means our guys have GOT to lay it all on the line tomorrow---I think it's going to be a classic!!

adding insult to injury was the puck hitting the post at the end regulation when  their goaltender was pulled.

like has already been mentioned today will be redemption for not only yesterday but 2010 as well. ( fingers crossed )
