It's confirmed that 2 of his 4 reviews are fake.  Mine 8/8/ review is fake and the provider he saw in September with 11 reviews has confirmed her's is fake as well.  I submitted my request to remove this review - asking TER to ask him describe my apartment and the process to get to my front door to verify he's been here.

He has 1 review for a nude massage.

He has 1 other review, the provider has a total of only 2 reviews.

My worry is that he tries to schedule with a provider, last minute?  She sees that he has 4 reviews and assumes he safe and ok --  she get's robbed, hurt or even worse.

 Be safe;-))

that he is simply doing it to get free VIP credits.   Regardless, this highlights why someone should never go on the fact someone has written reviews.  That is no substitute for White List references or actually calling the ladies someone has reviewed and verifying they saw him.

Some of us don't have white list referrals because we want to remain anonymous to our providers and/or bookers so that we can write honest reviews without fear of retaliatory blacklisting, so white list is double edged sword, gaining you some credibility with future providers, but potentially costing you the integrity of brutally honest reviews.  The worst thing I can imagine is having a really bad experience with a provider and not being able to put it in a review to tip off your fellow hobbyists for fear of reprisals.

huh, remaining anonymous because you don't want to write a honest review our the worst reviewers. Cause there the ones that are either BL by booker or been caught writting fake reviews.

Haveing a whitelist from a provider means you've really seen the girl. Yes, there are guys who have gotten white list from ladies then turn into monsters

You got it backwards.  I said to remain anonymous because I WANT to write an honest review, so I am NOT your worst reviewer.

I know a few hobbyist that have been blacklisted by certain orgs for giving a girl a 6 or 7 because the booker knew their TER handle.

If you want to write an honest review, but fear being BL, anonymity for your screen name is the solution for me.  As has been seen here in response to my first post on this subject, there are those who to disagree, but I have to do what has worked for me for seven years, hobbying four to eight hours a week, 95% with K-girls.  I realize how valuable the white list might be for those of you who mostly see indies, but that is not my world.

I always write comprehensive reviews, trying to capture some uniqueness of the girl's personality, some physical trait of the girl (location of tattoo, quirky things like makes you brush your teeth at the incall, etc.), or something noticeable at the incall (like glass enclosure rather than shower curtain, clothing hooks or not, lighting, bed height etc.) so that anyone that has seen the same girl knows that I actually saw her because of the details I gave.  Obviously, if a girl has 30+ reviews, it may be hard to come up with something new that hasn't already been said, but when a girl has less than ten reviews, it should be easy to bring something new to your own review that hasn't already been said in another review.  Unfortunately, there are many here who write a lot a generic reviews that can apply to anyone, so how do you know which ones are fake?

The great thing is each of us is able to compile on our own a list of other members whose reviews we have come to trust, contrasted against those fakes that were clear the reviewer never saw the girl.  You only need a few guys with similar tastes to your own, who you trust on reviews to lessen the change you will have a bad session.  You don't need to trust everyone, and those that don't know me are free to not trust me because I don't have a white list, or for any other reason they want.

You do know you can opt to NOT show your white list. You can turn it on to show a provider your trying to book with, but otherwise keep it in the "do not show" mode.

Its just a notation that you are someone verified by a provider.  White listing not only is a tool just for the ladies but for the guys as well.  If you have a white listing, its show your are legitimate hobbyists.
You are so concerned about anonymity in  a writing a "brutally honest review" about a bad provider who you will never see again.  But have you considered what good is it to write a great reviews when the guy does not have any white listings?   Those make me suspicious because you do not know if the lady wrote the review, a booker wrote it, the guy never saw the lady and so on.  Im more inclined to read the reviews with whitelisting but that is not fool proof as well.

So, Im just playing devil's advocate.

There are other options there.  Someone could write the review under an alias or maybe even have a second TER account that bad reviews are written under.  Also, if a bad review needs to be written, you can wait awhile to write it and leave out details that might key the provider onto which client wrote it.  I am usually rather careful who I see so I don't need to write bad reviews very often, however, I will write a bad one if it is justified.

I don't think you are allowed to have more than one TER account.  I could be wrong, but I think I read that somewhere when I joined a long, long, long, long time ago.

but the majority of them are still reliable and accurate

It's not dangerous to write fake reviews -- it's dangerous for us providers in the community.

Here's a cut and paste from my original post above.....

My worry is that he tries to schedule with a provider, last minute?  She sees that he has 4 reviews and assumes he safe and ok --  she get's robbed, hurt or even worse.

The only reason for fakes is for cheap assholes that are too cheap to pay for VIP access.
I totally hate that aspect of TER.  There should be a method of provider verification to confirm that a meeting occurred.  A one-time PIN, or a password from the provider to be entered.

If a guy makes an appointment, he should mention TER membership and request a unique provider-supplied passcode (good for 30 days) that cannot be backtraced to the reviewer by the provider.  That enables a semi-anonymous review, and proof positive that there was a meeting

their bf's and stalkers.  Those type of providers will write their own reviews as well as other unsavory things they do to coerce reviews.

All my reviews were legit until this past month  now I have 2 that are fake.

White listing can be used they way you described, to verify a meeting.  When i read reviews now, I give more weight to those reviews with white listings from the provider.   Its easier to sort out those reviewers who could have an alternative motive like it was in this situation.

I know white listing is not perfect and I would like to see it improved to be more like what other boards do but its a tool we can use on this board.
