Its been my experience that a provider through an agency will request her own donation above and beyond the amount the agency stated. Is that normal practice. Or is this considered up selling?
I do recall many years ago calling an agency and being quoted an unrealistically low fee of around $50 for an hour (This would have been in the 1980's by the way.) They said that was the agency fee and anything I decided on with the gal was up to the two of us.
Fair enough. We haggled a bit and came to some fair amount for an hour (Maybe $150?) and we were both happy.
That's different from being quoted $200+ and having the gal show up, pocket the dough and then start talking about how anything more than her standing there in her clothes for an hour is extra. I've had that experience too.
This is why boards like this are so important.
Anytime a provider asks for more money that was mentioned upfront that is upselling.
This is why it is important for providers/angencies to have a website with information. Since discussing money over the phone is ofen frowned on there needs to ba a place where the rates are stated up front. Some providers will change and extra fee for certain activities such as anail or fetishes, but again this should be stated up front.
Upselliong is bad news and if you ever do run into it you should let others know in reviews.
If you start to get upselled to run, leave, do anything to cut your losses cuz your not going to get what you want. Its hard when they're right there to say no but do it anyhow. If youre lucky you'll get a really expensive lap dance. If your not lucky you get to look but not touch for 3x as much $.
