Silicon Valley? It’s primarily in the “south bay” and nearby areas. Silicon Valley is mostly Santa Clara County with a little of Santa Cruz County, Alameda County and a fair amount of San Mateo County.

As others have mentioned. The lines are blurry, but:
- North of Palo Alto and South of San Francisco it's usually called "Peninsula" or "San Mateo [county]".
- "East Bay" usually covers Fremont up to Richmond and Concord
- "North Bay" is typically North of the GG and Richmond/San Rafael bridges.
