Or it's a TASTE-ament to their quality, flavor and popularity?

Is this the best burger in the states?   Don't be biased Californians,  are there any burgers across the states better?

There's...Tommy's, Five Guys, and of course my fav..FatBurger just to name a few...I'm sure there's more in mom and pop shops. I could never see the attraction with In-N-Out, they're "ok".

I have tasted all of the burgers mentioned many times.  IMHO, overall In and Out is still the best, but I also love Five Guys except for the price.

Aren't those all sit down?
Come on - those are a way different league than In N Out
Compare apples to apples bab

Tommy's on Beverly and Rampart, has no stools and it's all stand up, and Fatburger on Western is a shack. Anyway since In-N-Out went corporate, all there new places look like a Denny's, with booth and tables.....they sold out.
But hey, I still dig ya.....

Some of those are okay,  but I mean any burger places in different cities or domestic that are better than in-n-out?

I remember when a new In-n-Out burger opened in Texas, a guy posted a video of the drive through line that had to be 1/4 mile long (or more).  Now that is just plain ridiculous.

...so it reminded you that it was time to call your ATF?

It pissed off the very devout Catholic family that owns In-N-Out so they changed the bumper sticker.

Why?

- price, it can't be beat
- taste, the same no matter which location and always TASTY
- quality, they don't mess around with McD grade meats or produce
- core values, they give their employees Christmas and Easter off (other religious holidays too)
- respect, they pay their staff very well for the fast food industry
- community, they employ all ages as well as ethnicities
- employment diversity, you aren't just frying fries all day, you switch stations and rotate responsibilities
- efficiency, they are food fast, not fast food - they are very good on their line
- limited menu, this means they can perfect wha they have and everything will be consistent

More businesses need to adopt In N Out policies
In N Out doesn't advertise and doesn't need to (with the exception of billboards on highways notifying you an In N Out is at the next exit or whatever).

If I came to see you, I would bring In-n-Out.  It sounds like half the work of getting you excited would be done.  LOL

yeah there's good burger places anywhere that maybe mom n' pop joints or fancy deconstructed/reinvented hipster places, but when it comes to a fast food chain.  In n Out is the best burger in the country for a $6 range

In and out is the worst!  It's this weird LA cool thing.  I hate in n out.  Worst burger and fries I have ever had.  I can't believe they are in business.  Total scam.  Virtually any burger joint is better

Totally overated in IMHO.  It's a cult thing like Coors beer in ths day when you couldn't get it east of the Mississippi best beer ever.  People always want what they can have and the legend grows.  Just like Coors much better out there.

Have a life expectancy of 10 minutes, so if you're taking your meal home, your fries will feel like cardboard.

Better than their competition but hardly the best on the planet, or in CA for that matter.  And it has become, in, wait a while, then eventually, out.

I'm not a Californian ,But Been there  many times:)  I'd say What- A -Burger  Hamburgers In Texas get my vote for best in USA.

You'll gain like 5lbs...They look rauchy and I don't trust a burger that you could buy like a TV dinner. But I hear they're popular in the mid-west....I guess that now explains it

Had White Castles before same kind of cult following as In and Out and not that great either IMHO

White Castle is not for gaining weight. They're tiny and you'll have to eat a bunch to get full. Then you should plan on spending some time in the throne room. Grab some reading material before you go in. You could be there a while.

They're what you eat after you've been drinking all night - just before you head home.

I love In-N-Out, but Habit Hamburger has it beat.  Also love the Fresh Ahi Burger, and what a deal!
