Let's step back for a second and think about this. First, let's ask how do you know that there is an undercover sting going on involving this specific provider. How would you know that? How did you find that out? Do you have credible sources or is this something you are just speculating on. Do you know anyone who got arrested? If so, tell as many specifics as you can based on the facts.

You suggest you "didn't get caught because (you) found out in the nick of time.
Please elaborate what exactly happened. you can do that without naming anyone and causing problems but that would perhaps help some hobbyists.

You asked should you let TER know? Of course. It also raises questions about every review that has been posted about her.  TER's review database folks need to know that.

Then, you ask, how to warn others without LE finding out. They read these boards, so that's not going to work.
One thing you should do, specifically, is talk to your references and let them know what you know. But again, make sure you have facts not just speculation. That's because everyone has a different level of paranoia here. Make sure what you say is factual, not innuendo because a provider only has her reputation in this business. And, unfortunately, those of us who've been around a while, have seen guys with negative agenda's about a certain provider, trying to use the boards to smeer her reputation. I'm not suggesting any motives for you here, by the way.

If it were me, I'd provide as many specifics as I could, but if you post if from an anonymous address, one without lots of reviews, your own credibility will be questioned.  So to answer your initial question, the best way to warn people is to private email guys you know on the site and then post what you can --but without putting someone at risk. One big caveat -the more specifics you give, the more you could be implicating yourself in something. So be careful and re-read what you write before you post it.

I just became of aware of an undercover sting operation that is been performed with a provider that has reviews here and in other well-know sites for the purpose, from what it looks like, of catching hobbyist. I feel that I need to warn people, specially because it's a provider with reviews, but don't know how to go about it.

What would you do? Would you mind your own business and let it go? How to best warn fellow hobbyist? Should TER know? How to warn others without LE finding out since they might be watching this board?

Although I didn't get caught because I found out in the nick of time, I gave her my info including references and I'm worried what they would do with my info.

Thanks in advance and I appreciate any advice or input you can give me on this matter

But u damn well better be sure about this.

Totally agree!

Your post last year was asking how to warn others about swindlers and con artists.
Have you considered using a verification site to help you find providers?
I always look for multiple sources to decide if someone is legit... rarely go by TER reviews alone.

How do we know that your not LE?

Could be asking question's on how to get le through the backdoor?

First of all I want to thank everyone that responded, I really appreciate all your responses.

I feel sort of stupid because I might of gone about it the wrong way and feel I need to respond instead of leaving it ignored. It’s true I don’t know for sure but I’m not intending to find out either. I must admit I might of jump the gun by starting this thread the way I did and I apologize for that. I should of said “possible” or “my suspicions are” instead of sounding definitive like I did without any concrete proof but I find it that sometimes you got to trust your instincts.

To explain, I contacted this provider that will remain nameless since she has my info including TER id which is the main reason I chose an alias, but for the sake argument let’s call her Jane. I contacted Jane and from the get go she ask me to provide her with my picture. This sounded strange to me and all the time I’ve been doing this I never heard of a provider asking for a picture. To comply with her request I sent her a bullshit picture I found online and I called her to find out why she needed it. She said it was mainly to verify me. I talked to her for a while and she seem ok which is why I never gave it much thought. During our conversation she asked me where I was from so I gave her a bullshit story. We agreed to meet a couple of days later and she sent me her hotel location.

On the day we were supposed to meet she contacts me and tells that she is not feeling well and insist I see her friend who so happens to be from the same bullshit place that told her I was from. She then sends me pictures of her friend and her phone number. Her friend looked interesting so I text her and since I was feeling uneasy about whole thing, I called her friend to verify her but she would not answer and gave me a lame story that her phone was broken. At that point I moved on because I got disinterested at the lame story and unwieldiness to talk to me.

Now each time I tried to reschedule with Jane through the course of several days to a week, she always gives me the same incall hotel location but unable to see me for one reason or another and she would always suggest or insist I see her friend instead of her. At that point I was getting even more suspicious so I googled her friends number and saw an AD of a blond (her friend is a brunette from the pictures she sent me) with the exact same content as Jane’s AD. I don’t mean similar, I mean exact, word for word.

At this point I don’t know what to think so I text her asking if she can confirm explicit sex acts with her friend and she did not have any qualms what so ever. All the providers that I have dealt with will never do that at all. It’s never protocol ask to confirm explicitly about sex acts. To me this proved at the time she might be or working with LE or running some type of scam.

Unless I see her or her friend and possibly find out the hard way, I’ve not way of knowing for sure what’s going on.

Maybe she got bad vibes from you and decided she didn't want to see you?

That's why she kept avoiding you?

Assuming your story is accurate why don't you just drop the provider and move on? The other hobbyists are grown men and the experienced. A hotel incall with a bait and switch is more than enough to warn off most of us.

You are right and I think you nailed it in the head when you said "The other hobbyists are grown men and the experienced. A hotel incall with a bait and switch is more than enough to warn off most of us" which is mainly what I was trying to determine before with this and my previous post a while back and so it looks like that is the best approach to take...ignore it and hobbyists should be able to figure it out themselves. Please note I don't mean it in sarcastic or condescending way or that I'm bitter, just conforming what I was already suspecting: unfortunately that every man is for himself.
Still I wish there were some other means for unsuspecting hobbyist of finding out about it.
