I had the same problem for my last SF trip. Only I'd planned ahead, had impeccable, high end references, all to no avail. Some of the ladies didn't even return my inquiry, while one tried to upsell her already expensive rate. I've never had this type of problem in SF, but my usual go to ladies were out of town, so that left me trying to find someone new. Things were looking so bleak, I'd finally decided this was going to be a strip club weekend. At the last minute, one of the ladies finally contacted me, a week late, and we set something up. I don't like to throw generalizations around about particular cities, but this wouldn't have happened in the old days, as I've seen many lovely ladies on SF trips. This is something new, and very surprising. In fact, one would think that with the high end SF rates, this type of problem would be easily avoided. Not so! Times have changed in SF hobbywise. One thing is for sure, if my SF regs are busy for future trips, I'll be visiting art museums instead.
So I was just in the San Francisco area on business the other week and I couldn't find anyone available, it was short notice, but still. I would have thought this area would have been a hot spot of providers. I guess the Chicago area is just that much better.
Where are all the high class agencies? The ones like TouringCompanions and XOCompanions? Or even like the one that had a falling out with TER that I can't mention but the initials are CG? Is the hobby that dead over here that they can't even get any quality agencies in Califonia?
With all that being said, I hope I am just wrong and was just bad at finding what I was looking for cause I am now in the process of moving to San Francisco. If anyone has any tips of whee I should look for quality providers I would greatly appreciate it.
the last minute deal. Chicago is known for last minute or same day requests whereas the Bay Area prefers pre-booking for the most part, at least on the side of providers in my experience.
I mean, there are just so so many. My problem is never lack of providers, it's always lack of funds!
Perhaps your problem is that you're asking about all these agencies. I only see indy girls and I've never had a problem.
Yes, even for last minute bookings. That said, to succeed with last minute attempts you have to cast a wide net, and that needs to be done respectfully. I refer you to an older post of mine, which is just one suggestion of how to go about it
Getting some okays on p411 can help. They also list online and recent use.
SF the BayArea in particular has no comparison, tough to get short notice here even the agencies are pre-booked and most of the ladies requires screening process, especially the higher end of the industry if you want to downgrade qualities. Yes there's always the other sites that accommodates the short notices, some don't even require references, if you want to be daring and reckless...And also maybe the problem is, you only have 3 TER Reviews with an average providers..NOT really a good sign in your favor....
