Here's a Nixie post I just received.  I'm guess it's more backpage than TER, but thought you all might like to be aware:

"Advisory: #LASD Solicitation of Prostitution “Sex Buyer” Sting, 25200 Blk of the Old Rd, Unincorp Santa Clarita @SCVSheriff

On Thursday, July 30, 2015, in an on-going effort by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s to combat Human Trafficking, an internet “sex buyer” sting was conducted in the unincorporated area of Santa Clarita.

Investigators from the Sheriff’s Department’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Team, in conjunction with deputies from the Santa Clarita Station, conducted an operation specifically designed to target suspects attempting to buy sex after answering internet advertisements.

Three males were arrested for misdemeanor charges of solicitation, after they responded to internet sex ads and met undercover deputies at a local hotel room.  None of the suspects resided in the Santa Clarita Area.

Additionally, detectives scoured the internet advertisements in the area in an effort to identify and rescue any juveniles who may be victims of human trafficking; however, no juveniles were located.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Team strives to impact human trafficking in all its forms, from both the supply and demand aspects."
